Laurie VanBalen is a visual artist, instructor and the director of The Columbus Crossing Borders Project. While traveling the art exhibit and the documentary film to galleries, schools and community centers, she and her husband, Tom also work with students of all ages on creative projects that encourage meaningful actions toward equality, freedom and peace in our communities.
